We ended up joint owning a path or ROW (right of way) that includes a bridge. We had no idea, you know - people who move from the suburbs to the country. It was the little dashed lines on a small overall site map that "told us" this is what the road to our house is, so "we were told". In California that has to be maintained in repair by the people who use it. Wanna buy a bridge? Shouldn't our rural community based real estate agent told us this stuff?
